In the Syrian Specialized Hospital, the Department of Internal Medicine provides integrated primary medical care that focuses on acute or chronic diseases for patients, and works on diagnosing and treating their diseases at an early stage before their development through a detailed physical examination.
The department consists of specialists in internal diseases, as their work is not limited to one medical problem.
But if necessary, the specialist will refer to another specialist for advanced cases, in order to provide the correct planning for the patient’s treatment.
